A little sports truth for those who think that MLB is doing more than rounding up the “usual suspects” a-la “Casablanca” when they propose 100 game suspensions for substance cheaters. There is no rule against steroid use in the game, just a deal with the MLBPA that’s toothless. Brian Ross explains in a piece for The Huffington Post:
“Did you know that there is no rule against steroid use in the rule book of Major League Baseball (MLB)? Swearing, spitting, fighting, and gambling, yes. Performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs)? No.
