truth-2-Readers – t2P Answers Back for October, 2011

We receive a number of emails and a few messages from our facebook fan page that we never seem to have enough time to answer daily. So we’re starting a new article monthly where we talk to you about anything you want, from politics to living to why we do what we do here at t2P!

You write a great deal about the Republicans. What about the Dems? What about President Obama? Isn’t he a big power too?

We write back:

True enough, Vivian. We are working on a new “report card” feature for Mr. Obama. You’ll see it later this week. Beyond that, we can tell you that, thus far, what we see is that Mr. Obama continues to call for cooperation and push for the American people’s agenda. The polling on what they want and what he is talking up are largely in sync with all but a handful of Americans. The Dead Billionaires club and Wall Street are starving out jobs both on Wall Street and Mainstreet. Their political operatives are keeping the gridlock in check in Washington. It is quite amazing, in spite of all of that, how much Mr. Obama has been able to get done, given the monumental gridlock that has been lobbed at him. With Clinton, the GOP stonewalled with investigations. With Obama, they have shut down the government. More on what he has done and not done, though, later. Thanks!

Thank you for the kudos on our article art. Satire is a wonderful thing. Why don’t we publish every day? We’re very small right now, and we would rather be right and thorough than quick. t2P is always encouraging new writers to join up. We’re a volunteer co-op publication, something like what the Huffington Post used to be like before the AOL merger. Our writers have paying gigs, and also spend quite a few hours researching their op-eds. We hope to be able to provide more of the same in-depth, out-of-the-box content daily as our writing base grows.

How many Libs read this trash?

Decidedly fewer than one of Ann Coulter’s works of fiction, but we’re doing fine. We’ve only been open since the end of April, and already we have had more than 30,000 monthly readers! Oh, and thanks for your continued good wishes.
