Gasoline prices are up. These ‘mysterious’ spikes every few months are palmed off on Libya or Iran, but they trace back to the Koch Brothers “contango” strategy. With an economy on the mend, are the billionaire brothers turning a profit center into a political weapon of mass destruction aimed at their very public enemy, Barack Obama?

The recent uproar about women’s rights and health care is a time machine back to the 1950’s.
Birth control has been a non-controversial issue for decades. At least it was until Newt Gingrich, in early February, latched on to the fact that the Obama administration announced in mid-January that it had mandated that birth control be covered at no co-pay as basic health care service by insurance providers.

Another Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) closed last Sunday with more of the same brain-dead 19th century Libertarian-meets-”Christian” rhetoric that is to the party what ticks are to a dog.
Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Sarah Palin are the best that the Republican party can muster up?
